Rare silver-plated bronze reliquary with a glass facade containing the first class relic Ex Ossibus of Saint Vincent
The relic is set on a red silk background and decorated with golden rays of light and silver threads, it is identified in Latin on a handwritten label as: S. Vincentii M.
Good used condition with its original glass.

Saint Vincent Martyr is one of the most venerated saints of the Catholic Church, celebrated for his courage and faithfulness during the persecutions of the Roman Empire. Born in Spain, he became a deacon and was arrested during the persecution of Diocletian in the early 4th century. After being tortured and imprisoned in Valencia, he remained steadfast in his Christian faith, refusing to renounce his beliefs. According to tradition, he was subjected to terrible suffering, including exposure to wild beasts and burning with boiling oil. His martyrdom was crowned by his death in 304, and his relics are preserved in Seville, where he is particularly venerated. Saint Vincent is celebrated on January 22 for his witness of faith and his example of perseverance.
