Rare reliquary in bronze with a glass facade, containing the relic of Saint Crispin of Viterbo (Crispino da Viterbo). The relic is fixed on a background of red fabric decorated with silver threads and it is identified in Latin on a label as X Car B. Crisp a Vi Cap.

This reliquary predates the canonization of Crispin of Viterbo (B corresponding to the Beatification, stage preceding the canonization )

Good used condition with its original glass.

Saint Crispin of Viterbo, born Pietro Fioretti in 1668, was an Italian Capuchin monk. He led a life of piety and charity, becoming a model of Franciscan holiness. He is renowned for having performed miraculous healings and wonders. His beatification took place in 1900, and he is revered as a powerful intercessor for the Catholic faithful. His spiritual legacy lives on within the Capuchin order and beyond, inspiring believers to follow his example of faith and service to others.
