Rare and precious reliquary in rock crystal surrounded by a silver filigree with marvelous volute patterns, containing a first-class relic Ex Carne (fragment of flesh), with a morocco case with embossed decoration in relief, clasp with hook.
On the front on a cartridge is the inscription:"B. Veronica a Bin.o"
On the back:"Ex carne & off". The relic is accompanied by a papal bull bearing the inscription:"Tales Ambio - Defensores - Sant' Ambrosius".
Veronica Negroni da Binasco, Veronica of Milan, née Giovannina, called Nina Binasco, (1445; † Milan, January 13, 1497), was an Italian nun at the Augustinian monastery of Santa Marta in Milan.
