RELIQUARY, 15 RELICS OF SAINTS

Rare and magnificent large oval-shaped reliquary in blackened wood with a purple velvet background, decorated with a set of pearls, foliage, gems and paper with golden edges housing a large mother-of-pearl crucifix decorated with the Jerusalem cross, Christ, the Virgin Mary and the relics of 15 Saints identified on handwritten labels.

Magnificent convent work.

On the back of the reliquary two old handwritten labels detail the list of relics.
