Rare reliquary in bronze with a glass front, containing the relic of Saint Julie . The relic is fixed on a background of red fabric decorated with silver threads, it is identified in Latin on a label as S.Iuliae VM

Good used condition with its original glass. Not open.
Ecclesiastical stamp present and son in place.

Saint Julie is a 4th century Catholic saint, originally from Carthage. Captured and reduced to slavery in Corsica, she remained faithful to her Christian faith despite the persecutions. Known for her charity to the poor, she also converted many slaves and islanders. Saint Julie suffered martyrdom by being beheaded for her faith. She is venerated as the patron saint of Corsica and her feast day is celebrated on May 23.
