Rare silver-plated bronze reliquary with a glass facade containing the relic of Saint Joseph.
The relic is fixed on a silk background and is identified in Latin on a handwritten label as: Ex Pallio S. Josephi Sponsi BV ("From the mantle of Saint Joseph, husband of the Blessed Virgin")
On the back, an ecclesiastical wax seal guarantees the integrity of the relic. The silk threads are present.

Saint Joseph is the adoptive father of Jesus and the husband of the Virgin Mary. A carpenter by trade, he is often depicted with tools or holding the Infant Jesus. A just and silent man, he plays an essential role in the Gospels, guided by divine dreams to protect his family, particularly during the flight into Egypt. Patron saint of workers, fathers and the universal Church, he is a model of humility and faith. His cult has spread throughout the centuries, with many churches and shrines dedicated to him. The feast of Saint Joseph is celebrated on March 19. He is also invoked for a good death, surrounded by Jesus and Mary.
