Rare silver reliquary with a beveled glass front, containing the second-class relic Ex Pallio (of the mantle) of Saint Joseph. The relic is fixed on a fabric background decorated with silver threads and is identified in Latin on a handwritten label as From Pallio St. Joseph.
Good used condition with its original glass.

Saint Joseph is known as the earthly father of Jesus Christ. He was a carpenter from Nazareth and married Mary, the mother of Jesus. He accepted the fatherhood of Jesus and raised him as his own son. According to Catholic tradition, he died before the beginning of the public ministry of Jesus.
