Agnes founded a convent in Montepulciano, where she lived a life of prayer, meditation and austerity. She is renowned for her mystical visions and her gift of prophecy. Canonized in 1726, she became the patroness of Montepulciano and is celebrated for her holiness and exemplary spiritual life.
