Rare star-shaped silver reliquary, adorned with radiating arms, each ending in a small trilobed flower made of filigree. The center of the reliquary contains an oval glass-covered cavity holding a piece of red cloth, on which a label is affixed bearing the inscription "S. Ioseph Sp", the abbreviation for Sanctus Ioseph Sponsus, that is, Saint Joseph, spouse (of the Virgin Mary).
The piece displays stylistic characteristics of a Baroque or Rococo religious object, probably dating from the 18th century, and likely of Italian, German, or Spanish origin, based on the artisanal traditions of this type of filigree work.

Saint Joseph, spouse of the Virgin Mary, is a central figure in the New Testament. A carpenter by trade in Nazareth, he is the foster father of Jesus Christ. A just and silent man, he embodies obedience to God, as shown by the dreams in which he receives divine instructions. As a model worker, he became the patron saint of laborers, fathers, and the universal Church. The Gospel records no words spoken by Joseph, highlighting his discretion and profound humility. His veneration developed late but intensely, especially from the 16th century onward. He is celebrated on March 19, and also on May 1 under the title of Saint Joseph the Worker.
