RELIC OF SAINT VICTOIRE / VICTORIA

Rare reliquary in silvered bronze with a glass front containing a first-class Ex Ossibus relic of Saint Victoria.

The relic is fixed at the center of a refined decoration. It rests on a purple fabric background. Around the relic, a radiant motif in gold leaf evokes a divine halo, reinforcing its sacred character.

Below, a label in paper or parchment bears the inscription "oss. S. Victoriae V. M." → From the bones of Saint Victoria, virgin and martyr.

Good condition of use with its original glass.

Saint Victoria, virgin and martyr, is honored by the Church as a fearless witness of the Christian faith. She is believed to have lived in the early centuries and gave her life rather than deny Christ. According to tradition, she refused pagan advances and idols, preferring to consecrate her heart to God alone. Her martyrdom made her recognized as a spiritual bride of the Lord, victorious over the world through her sacrifice. Her memory is associated with other courageous virgins who sanctified Rome and the West through their testimony. The relics of Saint Victoria were venerated in many churches and spread throughout Europe in the modern era. She remains a model of purity, inner strength, and fidelity to the Gospel.
