Saint Marguerite Marie Alacoque (1647-1690), is famous for her devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. At the convent of Paray-le-Monial, she brought back visions of Christ, revealing her heart on fire with love. His mission to propagate this devotion was sustained despite initial opposition, contributing to its establishment in the Catholic Church. Beatified in 1864 and canonized in 1920, she remains an inspiration for her life of prayer, reparation and service to others, embodying divine compassion and love.
