Saint Julie is a 4th-century Catholic saint from Carthage. Captured and enslaved in Corsica, she remained faithful to her Christian faith despite persecution. Known for her charity towards the poor, she also converted many slaves and inhabitants of the island. Saint Julie suffered martyrdom by being beheaded for her faith. She is venerated as the patron saint of Corsica and her feast day is celebrated on May 23.
