Les trois anges de l'apocalypse-RELICS

The three angels of the apocalypse

The three angels of Revelation are important characters in the Bible, mentioned in the book of Revelation, also known as the Revelation of John. According to the Bible, these three angels have important roles to play in the events unfolding at the end of time.

1) The 1st Angel will announce the Eternal Gospel

“I saw another angel flying through midheaven, having an everlasting gospel, to declare it to the inhabitants of the earth, to every nation, to every tribe, to every tongue, and to every people. (Revelation 14:6).

2) The 2nd Angel will announce that Babylon has fallen

“And another, a second angel followed, saying, She is fallen, she is fallen, Babylon the great, who drenched all nations with the wine of the fury of her fornication! (Revelation 14:8).

3) The 3rd Angel will warn the inhabitants of the earth about the Beast

“And another, a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice: If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink wine of the wrath of God, poured out unadulterated into the cup of his wrath, and he shall be tormented in fire and brimstone before the holy angels and before the lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name,” (Revelation 14:9-11).

These three angels are often associated with end-time events as they prepare believers for the final judgment and the coming kingdom of God. In particular, the third angel is seen as a warning to people not to succumb to worldly temptations and to remain faithful to God.

It is important to note that these angels are not physical beings, but rather symbols used to represent important ideas or concepts in the Bible. Angels, as described in the Bible, are often used as messengers from God, bringing important messages to humans. In the case of the three angels of Revelation, they are used to remind believers of the importance of preparing for end-time events and remaining faithful to God.

In summary, the three angels of Revelation are important characters in the Bible who have important roles to play in end-time events. The first angel announces the glad tidings of salvation, the second angel announces the fall of Babylon, and the third angel announces the curse on those who worship the beast or his image. These angels serve as reminders for believers to prepare for end-time events and to remain faithful to God.

The Three Angels Proclaiming Judgment

6 Then I saw [another] angel flying high in heaven. He had an everlasting Gospel to proclaim to the inhabitants of the earth, to every nation, to every tribe, to every tongue and to every people. 7 He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, for the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the sky, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.” 8 Another, a second angel, followed him, saying, “She has fallen, [she has fallen,] Babylon the great, who made all nations drink of the wine of the fury of her whoredom!”

9 And another, a third angel, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives the mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, poured out unmixed from the cup of his wrath, and he shall be tormented in fire and brimstone before the holy angels and before the Lamb. 11 The smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever, and they have no rest day or night, those who worship the beast and his image, and all who receive the mark of his name.” 12 It is here that the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and the faith in Jesus is necessary.

The announcement of the judgment and the fall of Babylon

6 Then I saw another angel flying at the zenith. He had an everlasting gospel to preach to all the inhabitants of the earth, to every nation, tribe, tongue and people. 7 He cried out in a loud voice:

Fear God and give him glory, because the hour has come when he will render his judgment. So adore him who made the sky, the earth, the sea and the springs.

8 A second angel followed him, saying:

She has fallen, the great Babylon She has fallen who made all peoples drink the wine of her furious prostitution.

9 A third angel followed them, proclaiming with a loud voice:

He who adores the beast and his image and who accepts to receive his mark on the forehead and on the hand, 10 shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God. This wine will be poured pure into the cup wrath of God, and he shall suffer torments in fire and brimstone before the holy angels and before the Lamb. 11 The smoke of their torment will rise forever. Whoever worships the beast and his image, whoever accepts the mark of his name will know no rest, day or night.

12 It is there that the members of the holy people, those who obey the commandments of God and live according to the faith in Jesus, must show endurance.
